Sonal and Shaleen’s pre-wedding festivities were loaded with a lot of fun and frolic. The next day was their ‘Big Day’. The day started with the pooja at Shaleen’s side where they’d tie the turbans on all the baaratis. The family, friends, and guests danced their hearts out at Shaleen’s baarat. Shaleen dressed up immaculately to match the marwadi wedding theme and arrived at the wedding venue on a decorated horse. Their destination wedding took place in Raj Niwas Bagh, a grand property in the midst of the Aravalli Mountain ranges. Those gorgeous terraced gardens and water ponds around the palace made it the perfect royal Jaipur wedding. I wouldn’t hold you for long, time to take a plunge!
The bride wore bright red colored lehenga with gold detailing by Vikram Phadnis for Diva’ni, New Delhi. Her flawless make up was done at the Nims Salon Jaipur.
One of the most important things this couple kept in mind was having their pheras before the staged reception and not at midnight. This lets them have some cheerful and fresh-looking pictures. It is hard for the bride who got ready in the afternoon to not get tired at the midnight after meeting 500-odd guests and still having the same molar-to-molar smile.
